The therapists of the Centre are members of the professional bodies such as Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), Association for Marital and Family Therapy, Singapore (AMFTS) and/or accredited Social Workers by the Social Work Accreditation and Advisory Board. The Code of Ethics of these Associations ensures the ethical and high practise standards of their members.

Whilst we appreciate and respect clients’ need that information arising from the sessions is kept confidential and private, there are limits to the boundaries of confidentiality. Our therapists abide by the Code of Ethics but we also value life and living as part of humanity. When there is potential harm to self or others, the therapists are duty bound to inform relevant persons who can best make relevant and responsible action to prevent such injury or harm.
