SYNOPSIS

The use of self is a powerful therapeutic tool that enables Helping Professionals to integrate aspects of personality, belief system, relational skills, and personal experience into the helping relationship and contribute to the well-being of their clients. This workshop focuses on the philosophy and premises of POTT, putting the theory into practice and learning how to use the ‘Self’ in connecting, assessing, and intervening with clients. Harry Aponte’s observations of his use of self will be another highlight of this 2-day workshop.
