Submission of Abstracts

We invite family therapy practitioners, counsellors, social service professionals, educators, researchers, students, and thought leaders to submit abstracts for the Singapore Systemic Family Therapy Conference, to be held from 22nd and 23rd October 2026 at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Submission Topics 

May include:

1. Supervision
2. Healthcare and Mental Health
3. Community Settings (Children, Education, Family etc.)
4. Rehabilitation, Correction & Family Engagement in Justice System
5. Regional and International Partners

Format

Workshop/ Paper Presentation comprise individual or co-authored presentations from different organizations or countries, grouped according to conference themes, where possible. Each presentation is allocated 45 minutes, inclusive of Q&A.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

When submitting SSFTC2 abstracts, authors must:

1. Submit abstracts relevant to Systemic Family Therapy only
2. Submit abstracts relevant to the conference theme: Warming Context: Reflection and Aspirations for the Future of Family Therapy
3. Indicate conference topics
4. Provide author information as required
5. Submit abstracts in Word format
6. Use format: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion, Research Implications on Systemic Family Therapy
7. Exclude references, tables or figures
8. Limit each abstract to 200 words only
9. Be registered participants of the conference
