Consultation for Practitioners

Our consultations are conducted by experienced consultants who adopt systemic ideas and practices. These consultants have extensive backgrounds in counseling, social services, and mental health, bringing a wealth of practical knowledge and theoretical expertise to the sessions.

Topics covered during consultations include theoretical frameworks, clinical techniques, case discussions, ethical practices, and practitioner self-care. The specific focus is tailored to the practitioner’s learning goals and areas for growth.

For individuals, an hourly fee is charged for consultation sessions. For agency-based consultations, a minimum charge of three hours applies per group session. Voluntary Welfare Organizations (VWOs) that are members of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) may apply for funding from the VWO Capability Fund to support these costs.

Funding & Subsidy Schemes

  3. Upon successful submission of the income verification documents, CCC will determine the subsidised fee and schedule the first appointment.

To qualify for CFSS, a client, his/her spouse/partner, and/or family members who are attending counselling, are required to submit one of the following documents for verification:

Psychological Assessment

If you have any concerns or questions after receiving the assessment results, our psychologists are available to discuss them with you. We can provide further explanations, additional recommendations, and support as needed.

Yes, psychological assessments can be used to support educational planning, accommodations, and interventions for students. They can also be used in work settings to help understand and support employee mental health and performance.

The results of the assessment are communicated through a detailed written report, which includes an explanation of the findings, diagnoses (if any), and recommendations for treatment or interventions. The psychologist will also discuss the results with you in a follow-up session.

To prepare for a psychological assessment, it’s helpful to gather any relevant medical, educational, or psychological records. Ensure that the individual being assessed is well-rested and comfortable. For children, explaining the process in a simple and reassuring way can help reduce anxiety.

We use a variety of standardised tests and assessment tools, including cognitive and IQ tests, behavioural checklists, emotional and personality assessments, and specific diagnostic tests for conditions like ADHD and learning disabilities.

The purpose of a psychological assessment is to gather detailed information about an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. This helps in diagnosing conditions, planning treatment, and providing recommendations for interventions and support.
