Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
To help employees deal with personal difficulties that are obstructing
their personal and professional lives.
What is EAP?
EAP is a professional, confidential programme designed to engage employees to deal with their personal and relational difficulties that may impede their physical health, work performance, mental and psychological well-being.
A thriving workforce is the backbone of any successful organisation. By fostering resilience and promoting mental health, we help enhance productivity, job satisfaction, and overall workplace harmony. Partner with us to create a healthier, more resilient workforce, where every individual has the support they need.
Counselling and Care Centre are one of the official EAP service providers under the Employer Support Grant by the National Council of Social Service. That aims to encourage hiring persons with mental health conditions by defraying the cost employers would incur in providing training opportunities or workplace adjustments.
The EAP Contract
CCC is able to provide a contracted service under EAP, offering counselling to employees as part of an organisation’s employee welfare programme. The EAP contract is an agreement between the employer and CCC that specifices the number of counselling sessions the staff is entitled during the contractual agreement. An invoice will be issued to the employer every month. The particulars of the employee attending the counselling sessions will be revealed in the invoice only upon mutual agreement between the employee and the employer.
Confidentiality Note
CCC therapists are members of various professional bodies such as:
- Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)
- Association for Marital and Family Therapy Singapore (AMFTS)
- Singapore Association for Social Workers (SASW)
These Association’s Code of Ethics ensures the ethical and high practice standards of their members.
We abide by the Code of Ethics by representing clients’ need for information arising from the sessions to be kept confidential and private. There are, however, limits to the boundaries of confidentiality as we also value life and living. When there is potential harm to self or others, we are duty-bound to inform relevant persons who can best take relevant and responsible action to prevent injury or harm.
For Employees Under EAP
If you are an employee under the EAP contract, you may make an appointment with CCC directly by completing the appointment form. You will have to provide basic information about yourselves, your employer, and the reasons for seeking counselling.
Critical Incident Stress Debrief (CISD)
During unforeseen crises or following traumatic incidents, employees may be emotionally and psychologically affected. They might experience recurring thoughts of the event, difficulty sleeping, or changes in appetite. If these effects are left unaddressed, they can lead to increased absenteeism or a decline in concentration and productivity. These reactions are normal responses to a crisis.
At CCC, our skilled psychotherapists are available to provide counselling and psychological debriefing to affected employees, ensuring their continued well-being. Our counselling services can be conducted on-site, either individually or in groups, to support staff members who have been impacted while on the job. Through our intervention, we aim to help employees process their experiences and regain their resilience.

Testimonials
Sensitive and respectful
Great listener, therapist asks question in a sensitive and respectful way.Leaning to embrace self-awareness and compassion
Embracing self-awareness involves understanding my feelings, behaviors, and the reasons behind my actions. Reflecting regularly, practicing mindfulness, seeking feedback, and understanding my triggers can help deepen this awareness. Self-compassion means treating myself with kindness, acknowledging your struggles, practicing self-care, and forgiving myself for mistakes. Compassion for others involves empathizing with their struggles, offering support, and respecting their different experiences and stress thresholds. My journey is a testament to your strength and resilience.Have A Question? Let us help you with it.
